Portuguese theater company mala voadora, playwright Robert Schenkkan, and the Peacedale Global arts team will continue to develop Schenkkan's new play, MOTION/CAPTURE during a residency in Alentejo, Portugal.

Zora Howard has been selected as the inaugural Arthur Kopit Fellow at Peacedale Global Arts. The fellowship is a year-long residency that includes a cash prize of $10,000, a seat in Peacedale Global Arts’ New Work, NY Generative Workshop, additional artistic support, and opportunities to explore international exchange.

Clarence Coo, Rogelio Martinez, and Stefanie Zadravec will join Peacedale Global Arts staff to facilitate writing workshops in collaboration with the Arts University of Târgu Mureș in November of 2025. The program brings together graduate students, faculty, and alumni from the Hungarian and Romanian sections of the University’s two-year master’s degree program in Playwriting. The workshops promote creative and cultural exchange across languages.
