Peacedale Global Arts returned to Portugal for a playwriting residency. Writers took part in a generative writing workshop as part of an ongoing partnership with Escola do Largo and hosted by mala voadora. Participants included U.S. writers Monet Hurst-Mendoza and Arturo Luís Soria with Portuguese playwrights Cátia Faísco and Ana Jorge Sabença.

Zora Howard has been selected as the inaugural Arthur Kopit Fellow at Peacedale Global Arts. The fellowship is a year-long residency that includes a cash prize of $10,000, a seat in Peacedale Global Arts’ New Work, NY Generative Workshop, additional artistic support, and opportunities to explore international exchange.

Our signature generative writing workshop program will return in the fall of 2026. A dynamic cohort of U.S.-based writers will gather in NYC to create, share work, and exchange artistic perspectives over five days.
