Peacedale Global Arts returned to Alentejo, Portugal for a residency that brought U.S. writers to work with artists and playwrights in the Portuguese theater community as part of an ongoing partnership with Escola do Largo and hosted by mala voadora.

Our signature generative writing workshop program returned in the spring of 2025. A dynamic cohort of U.S.-based and international writers gathered in NYC to share work and artistic perspectives. Participants this year included guest artists Marcos Barbosa, Lígia Soares, and Guilherme Gomes from Portugal.
