Shayan Lotfi has been selected as the 2026-27 Kopit Fellow at Peacedale Global Arts. The fellowship is a year-long residency that includes a cash prize of $10,000, a seat in Peacedale Global Arts’ New Work, NY Generative Workshop, additional artistic support, and opportunities to explore international exchange.

A group of theatermakers will attend a two-day gathering in New York City to share projects, discuss models of theater exchange, and explore resource-sharing. This program celebrates the many industrious ways artists make their own work and cultivates a generous creative cohort for artists to bounce ideas off of as they move forward.

Peacedale Global Arts will return to Romania to lead writing workshops at Nottara Theatre in Bucharest. Afterward, a team will support the translations of works by Clarence Coo and Stefanie Zadravec. The Hungarian and Romanian language readings will be presented at the multilingual STUDIO Festival at the Arts University of Târgu Mureș.
